STELLA MCCARTNEY: THE ECO FRIENDLY DESIGNER WHO IS CHANGING THE INDUSTRY
FIGHTING FOR THE ANIMAL RIGHTS AND ETHICAL VALUES
In recent years, we have seen how awareness of the environment has increased and it seems that it will continue to do so. We live in a time where there is an ecological conscience and there is a fight for the care of our planet.
Stella McCartney leads a vegetarian company, committed to operating a responsible, honest, and modern business. Recognized for not creating garments with leather or fur, instead it uses alternative and sustainable materials.
Its brand makes it clear that there are imperfections in its processes and that it still has a long way to go to become a 100% ecological company. But her intention and commitment to the environment are indisputable and she has managed to lead an ecofriendly trend that is spreading to other brands.
STELLA MCCARTNEY NEW COLLECTION SPRING SUMMER 2020
Stella McCartney inspires her New Collection in all strong women, the past, the present and the future, in those who are not afraid to make the world their own.
The way to do it has been by reinventing formulas that always work for the timeless beauty they treasure and adding a few bold patterns that make the novelty bell ring.
During the Fashion Show, the models toured the catwalk alongside young activists shouting environmentalist proclamations, with the clear objective of raising awareness among those present, and sending a message to the world: “If you have to buy and wear something today, make sure to don’t kill your planet."
Natural colours, gradients and flowing fabrics predominated poetically evoking the wind. Denim and loose-fitting two-piece suits took on a special role, as well as pieces in which the faux fur is perfectly identified with a label that says “Free Fur”. Floral motifs continue to remain a permanent element of her imagination, and astral-inspired prints come on the scene, such as suns and clouds in their 90s aesthetics.
DON’T MISS THESE ACCESSORIES
If you love the iconic models, Stella McCartney launches this Spring Summer a reissue of the Falabella model in colours that will delight any insider. Lilac, sky blue or cream colour among others. It’s hardware is lightweight and includes a nice logo band.
As for the Logo collection with the perforated anagram, a new skin type appears on the scene. The python effect with the fluor pink logo will become your new obsession!
On the other hand, raffia, crochet, and braided designs complete a collection made almost 100% in recyclable materials and using environmentally responsible techniques.
